I was always a good putter until about the last ten years. Have gone through several grips, putters, putter lengths, and so on and so on. Absolutely no clue why, but I knew that my alignment was off. Always aimed to the right, but that was always my tendency going back to when I was a kid. So, when I got the glasses, I charged them up and at 10pm, turned them on and got into my stance in the kitchen. Tile floor, straight line grout. Turned my head to the left to look down the line of the imaginary putt, and "magic moment", the laser is pointed roughly 22 inches right of the path line. Try making a putt when your head is pointed 22 inches right of the target. Needless to say, my alignment and target perception is much better, so my speed is much better, so my stroke is much better, so I am making more putts. This was the best investment I could make and I could not be happier with the glasses.
Laser Putting Glasses
Great for putting, of course. But also amazing for chipping and pitching.. Steady head really helps pure contact.. Keeps the swing bottom from moving if used properly..Amazing how much it moved when first tried it in chipping.
Not sure if eyes are directly over the ball but great for keeping eye centered on the ball during the stroke and great to train your eye line to look directly down the line to the hole while using the mat while training.
The use of the Putting Glasses open my eyes to the fact that my head was moving all over the place right, left forward, and backward as I set up over my putts and while the clubface made contact. Using the Putting Glasses with the 15-foot Perfect Practice Putting Mat and on the putting green I have trained myself to be more still and more calm standing over the putt and through impact. Then I follow the path of the ball with the laser. A great tool that has definitely helped improve my putting. Highly recommend it.
